Analysis of Halocynthia roretzi Cox1 cDNA sequence suggests that in the ascidian mitochondrial genetic code, AGR code for Gly (unlike other animals), ATA for Met (like vertebrates and invertebrates) and TGA for Trp (like vertebrates and invertebrates).
