High-throughput single-molecule optofluidic analysis.

A microfluidics device sequentially generates various combinations of reagent concentrations exploring the parameter space of a reaction or a phenomenon, for instance: iunfluence of salts and strand molarity on DNA hybridisation, or influence of glutamate concentration on RNA polymerase activity. In both cases, the readout was a FRET measurement of two fluorophores bound at two extremities of a DNA probe.
